Matt Dawson
Executive Director
Matt has 20 years experience in commercial insurance, having worked for Heath Lambert (now Gallagher Heath) Towergate Insurance and Kerry London previous to joining forces with Genesis Risk Solutions (GRS) He has a track record in setting up successful insurance schemes in the past. Matt has been heavily involved in Sport and Leisure insurance, whilst at Kerry London he held a senior role in the division which managed the Professional Cricketers Association (PCA) and England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) insurances as well elite sports clubs and many grass roots sports clubs liabilities and properties.
Through his team he had joint responsibility for the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) Coaches Association scheme and Association of Cricket Officials (ACO)
Matt jointly looked after a team of 10. Matt has built a strong network of contacts across senior levels in all sports and manages the key relationship with strategic partner and digital platform Sport 80 – which provides digital services to over 60 sports national governing bodies worldwide.
Matt is passionate about most sports, particularly football, rugby, cricket and golf.

Mike Willson
Consultant & Advisor
Mike has over 30 years of experience as a Senior Liability Broker in construction and with High Risk Liability markets placing risks on a range of clients including many multi-million pound businesses. Operating in both the Lloyd’s and London markets, Mike worked for a number of niche/specialist Lloyd’s Brokers, where he looked after placing in excess of £30m premium in many complex sectors. During this long period Mike has developed, and still maintains, strong working relationships with the many leading underwriters across construction over his career ensuring that Club Cover is able to career ensuring that Club Cover is able to source appropriate cover and manage relationships for its range of products.
Mike was recruited to take over the running and development of Quote It Limited, which is part of Genesis Risk Solutions and where the Club Cover Sports range of products sit, 7 years ago and has grown the business.
From very small beginnings to over £3m income during this period of time and is forever looking to increase their market share further.
